8TH GRADE ART CONTEST

ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS!

 

Take part in creating an original design for this year's 8th grade promotion yard sign, and possibly other promotion-related materials and/or Bret Harte athletic apparel. 

 

Contest Guidelines:

• Must include the words "Bret Harte" or "Bret Harte Middle School" or "BHMS"

• Should include the word "Broncos"

• May include promotion year (e.g., "2025" or "25" or "Class of 2025")

• Ideally include the school mascot (Bronco)

• Design must be original artwork

• Open to current Bret Harte 8th grade students ONLY

• Design must be in landscape (horizontal) orientation

• Simple designs work best and should be created on an 8.5 x 11 piece of white paper

Other Helpful Information:

• The artwork will be done on a white background

• Please DO NOT put student name on the artwork

• Winning design to be chosen by the 8th grade class

• Art contest winner will receive a free yard sign

The promotion yard signs will be available for purchase in late April and all through May 2025. Details to follow.​
